It's that time again...what time is it? Otakon Time! once again I have had a very late start since i wasn't sure if i would even be going. but thanks to my darling cousin I now have a room. So this gives me less than a month to complete 2 costumes. Hopefully I can do it. I wanted to do something fairly easy since I'm not so good at sewing. Prop making I'm OK i think. So for my Friday costume I am going as Sheva Alomar From Resident evil V.

I need new cosplay Ideas
The thing that holds me back is skin color. I know skin shouldn't play a part in cosplay but I don't want to choose a character and end up looking a hot mess. Since I am new at cosplaying I want the first ones I pick to be ideal for me Also my body type kind of limits me also. I'm sort of....well blessed in certain areas....so I think I'm scared to do cosplays that are a bit skimpier then i would normally do. Also I don't think i can cosplay as guys because of my shape :( ahhh i need to get over this!

Shoppingholics.com. GEO Xtra WT-B82 Blue Review
In my cosplay attempt I began looking for the perfect blue circle lens. I wanted something quick in time and also something that would show up on dark eyes without looking scary. I saw great reviews of shoppingholics.com so i decided to give them a try. I decided to order the GEO Xtra WT-B82 Blue lens also known as the I.fairy Hanabi blue.

Otakon cosplay construction
I've been meaning to make this post for a while now. My sisters and I are going to Otakon 2011. We went last year also. Otakon is the biggest anime convention on the east coast. For those who don't know what happens at an anime convention there are panels with anime creators and voice actors as well as a huge gaming and vendor room. There are also Japanese bands and a giant rave. It usually falls on a weekend (fri-sun) in summer this year its from July 28-31st. During These days many people Cosplay. Costume play or "cosplay" for short is when people dress up as a certain character. Last year i was an original character. But this year i will attempt to become Chun-li of street fighter and Katara of Avatar the last airbender.
